Cinnamon Latte



Ingredients
# 1/2 cup strong coffee
# 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
# 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
# 1 1/3 cups 1% low-fat milk

1.In a large pan, mix the cinnamon and sugar with a bit of milk.
2.Add the rest of the milk and bring to a boil.
3.Just as the mixture comes to a boil, take it off the heat.
4.Split your hot coffee between 4 mugs.
5.Pour in the milk and serve immediately.
6.Another variation is to leave out the ground cinnamon, but instead put a large cinnamon stick, some cloves and green cardamom pods in the milk. Leave as it comes to a boil, set aside and let it infuse for a couple minutes. Then strain out the seasonings and pour into the coffee.

Starbucks®️ Ice Cream Sandwich



Ingredients
-24 freshly-made chocolate chip cookies
(or other cookies of your choice)
-1 quart (or 2 pints) any flavor of Starbucks®️ Ice Cream
-12 sheets (12"x9") of aluminum foil

Instructions
Place about 1/3 of ice cream between 2 cookies
Gently press together
Wrap each sandwich in foil
Freeze for at least 4 hours until firm

Makes 12 sandwiches

~Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino~



I N G R E D I E N T S
-6 cups double-strength freshly brewed dark roast coffee
-2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus additional cocoa powder for garnish
-2 cups nonfat milk

I N S T R U C T I O N S
-Fill ice-cube trays with half of the brewed coffee and place in the freezer. In a bowl, combine the remaining brewed coffee, cocoa powder and milk and stir to dissolve the cocoa. Cover and chill.
-When the ice cubes have frozen, transfer them to a kitchen towel and, using a hammer or mallet, crush the cubes. Fill 4 glasses with the crushed ice and divide the coffee-cocoa mixture evenly among them. Dust the top with cocoa powder and serve.
Serves 4.

Chocolate Chip Cookies



INGREDIENTS
* 1 cup butter flavored shortening
* 3/4 cup white sugar
* 3/4 cup brown sugar
* 2 eggs
* 2 teaspoons Mexican vanilla extract
* 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 cups milk chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter flavored shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla .Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

CHICKEN PIE



Ingredients:

For the pastry
250gm multipurpose flour
1 1/2 teaspn salt
200gm shortening( should be well-chilled)
120ml cold water

For the filling:
1 onion, chopped
2 garlics, chopped
1 tblspn curry powder
curry leaves
1 small potatoe, diced
2 chicken breasts, diced
Salt and sugar to taste

Fry onions and garlics until withered, add curry leaves then curry powder. Add in some water. Stir well until gravy thickened a bit. Add in chicken, stir well. Add potatoe dices and cook until softened. Add salt and sugar to taste.


Instructions:
1. Mix well salt and water.
2. Sift flour. Place shortening on the flour, dice finely and mix in until the dough resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
3. Add salt water and knead to bind the dough.
4. Divide dough into two equal rolls. Wrap with cling film and chill for 30 mins to 1 hr.
5. On a floured surface, roll out 1 dough into a thin round pastry sheet 2.5cm larger than the pie mould.
6. Line the pie mould evenly with the pastry sheet. Cut out the excess pastry.
7. Fill in the chicken pie filling of your choice. ( I used the curry puff fillings but with more chicken meat and less potatoe dices. You may also use fried minced meat as well).
** Do not fill hot filling on to the pastry dough to avoid pastry base gets melt.
8. Roll out the remaining pastry dough until flat and thin.
9. Cut the pastry sheet into 1.5cm wide strips and and arrange the strips in a lattice (anyaman tikar) over the top of the pastry. Cut out excess dough and brush with beaten egg.
10. Bake in pre-heated oven at 200 deg cel for 1 hr or until pastry turns golden brown.

I referred to zack`s and a few of my cook books before settled with the final ingredients and method of making. Thanx for their courtesy. Again it wuz a great challenge to actually get a crispy and flaky pie pastry and I must thank zack again for her invaluable tips and tricks in order to get a satisfactory result.
Besides, it wuz also fun to do the lattice work. This kind of pastry finishing is different from the ones I normally view on websites or cookbooks. Those were rather flat, a little crispy and more like tart pastry but NOT flaky. Flaky pastry goes well with chicken, beef and seafood fillings

CORNFLAKE MADU

Bahan-bahan :
Sekotak besar Nestle Cornfalke (325gm)..apa2 pun brand pun ok
250gm butter
4 senduk besar madu
2 senduk besar bijan
2 senduk besar buah2 campuran kering
1 senduk almond cincang..tak bubuh sebab tak ade

Cara-cara:
1. Cairkan butter dalam periuk. Tak perlu sampai jadi minyak.
2. Masukkan madu. Kacau hingga rata.
3. Masukkan cornflake, buah2 campuran, bijan dan almond cincang. Kacau rata.
4. Sudukan ke dalam papercups pilihan dan bakar pada suhu 150 drj selama 10min - 15min.
Jangan terlalu lama nanti hangus pulak.
5. Sejukkan dulu baru simpan dalam bekas kedap udara.

CHOCOLATE SPONGE CAKE



Bahan-bahan:
4 biji kuning telur
20gm gula
4 biji putih telur
100gm gula
100gm tepung gandum
1 1/2 serbuk koko
50gm mentega, dicairkan dan dibiar sejuk seketika

Cara-cara:
1. Pukul putih telur hingga kembang dan kental. Masukkan gula.
Teruskan memukul hingga kental dan pekat.
2. Pukul kuning telur dan 20gm gula.
3. Campurkan adunan putih telur dan kuning telur. Kaup balikkan
perlahan-lahan. Jangan terlebih adun. Cukup sekadar tergaul sebati.
4. Kaupbalikkan tepung sedikit demi sedikit.
5. Kaup balikkan pula mentega hingga sebati.
6. Bakar di dalam loyang yg telah dilapik kertas gris pada suhu 180 drj
selama 25min - 30min. Keluarkan kek serta-merta setelah siap dibakar.
6. Biar sejuk dan hiaslah ikut citarasa.

KRIM HIAS FANTASIA

Bahan-bahan:
200ml madu
65gm mentega
60gm serbuk koko
180ml air suam
250ml susu cair
40gm tepung gandum
1 camca teh esen vanilla

Cara-cara:
1. Bancuh kesemua bahan kecuali mentega. Kacau sehingga sebati dan
tapis untuk mengelak bancuhan berketul-ketul apabila dididihkan.
2. Masak seketika di atas api sederhana, masukkan mentega.
3. Teruskan kacau sehingga bancuhan mendidih dan menjadi likat serta
berkilat.
4. Sejukkan terlebih dahulu sebelum disapu ke atas kek.

ROSE SWISS ROLL

Ingredients

3 eggs, seperated
1/2 cup castor sugar
1/2 cup self raising flour, sifted
1/4 cup corn flour, sifted
2 tblspn hot milk
1 tblspn butter, melted
2 tblspn rose water ( I substituted with 1 tspn of rose essence)
a few drops of red coloring
100ml whipping cream, whipped till stiff peak form

Instruction

1. Pre-heat oven at 180 deg cel.
2. Beat egg whites till stif peak formed.
3. Add sugar, continue beating till thick and glossy.
4. Add egg yolks little by little, beating well after each addition.
5. Lightly fold in flour with milk till well-combined.
6. Add melted butter and lightly mix it. Add coloring, mix well.
7. Pour batter in a greased and lined a swiss roll pan and bake for 8 ~ 10 minutes.
8. Leave cake in tin for 5 mins. Then take out to cool on wire rack.
9. Place on a wet tea towel and cut sides away.
10. Spread cream and roll the cake.

peach muffin



Bahan-bahan :
150gm tepung gandum
1/2 sudu besar baking powder
75gm brown sugar
10gm castor sugar
60gm butter (Room temperature)
60ml susu segar
1 biji buah peach segar (Saya guna peach dlm tin)

Icing :
50gm icing sugar
3 tspn water
1 tspn vanilla essence

Cara-cara
1. Ayak tepung gandum bersama baking powder.
2. Potong kiub buah peach.
3. Pukul telur.
4. Pukul butter, castor sugar dan brown sugar sehingga berkrim. Masukkan telur sebiji demi sebiji.
5. Masukkan tepung dan susu berselang seli dan sedikit demi sedikit .
6. Akhir sekali masukkan buah peach dan kaup balikkan.
7. Tuang ke dalam papercups dan masak selama 20~30 minit pada suhu 180 drj celcius.
8. Sementara itu sediakan icing. Mix together icing sugar, water and vanilla essence. Garnish muffins when they are cold.

resepi ni dh rmi orang tau..




AYAM GORENG BEREMPAH

Bahan
1 ekor ayam [potong 8 dan bersihkan]
3 s/b rempah kari ayam/daging
3 s/b cili mesin
1 s/b serbuk kunyit
3 s/b tepung goreng ayam
3 ulas bawang merah ]
2 ulas bawang putih ] mesin halus
6 inci halia ]
3 batang serai ]
garam

Cara
1. Gaulkan semua bahan dan perapkan selama beberapa jam
2. Gorengkan dalam minyak yg banyak sehingga garing.

Sambal Belacan

Bahan
5 tangkai cili merah
5 tangkai ciliapi
1 biji tomato buah
3 cm belacan
garam
2 biji limau nipis [ambil jusnya]

Cara
1. Masukkan semua bahan kecuali jus asam limau dalam blender dan mesin kasar.
2. Tuangkan dalam mangkuk dan gaulkan dengan jus asam limau.
3. Rasakan masam dan masinnya.
